There will be a bar on board selling a selection of Real Ale and Cider, proceeds from which will also go to Charity.

We politely ask that you don’t contact GB Railfreight directly regarding this train, simply turn up on the day.

GB Railfreight will do everything it can to run these trains with the advertised locmotives, but reserves the right to cancel or amend the train for unforeseen operational reasons.

Dale Williams, organiser of the Charity Train, said:
“We trialed a charity train last year and it proved extremely popular, raising more than £5,000 for Age UK. I’m pleased that we are able to repeat this initiative and look forward to the day. Hopefully the weather will hold out for us”.
